What Causes High Fever, Headache, Nausea And Body Pain After Taking Influenza Shots?
My fiancé just got his Pneumococcal Vaccine Polyvalent Pneumovax 23 & influenza Fluarix Quadrivalent injections at CVS Minute Clinic yesterday in Mission Viejo at 2:00 pm and has been feeling extremely ill since then, eg, running a high fever, chronic headache, aches, pain, nausea, fatigue, lightheaded, etc. Note: He has been healthy & not sick at all and is 62 years old. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello,
Your symptoms seem to be related to side effects of the vaccine. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen three tablets a day. I also recommend drinking liquid and rest.
