What Causes High Fever In A Child After Treated For Typhoid Fever?
My child 14 years old has typhoid 2weeks back and he was in hospital for 1 week and now from past one week he is fine after treated with antibiotic in fortis hospital ....and yesterday he went to school and came back with fever 100.8 ....my doctor told me to give him crocin , now also he has 99.6 fever ...what should I do please tell me..

The likely cause of fever is that either the diagnosis of typhoid fever was wrong and it is some other fever illness, or typhoid fever has not been treated adequately. Please discuss these issues with your doctor. Child may require further tests and then treatment.
