What Causes High Fever, Vomiting And Diarrhea?
My 19 year old son has a moderate fever (101) for 24+ hours, moderate headache, neck ache, body aches, chills, sweating. These are the same symptoms he had about a month ago, except that his fever reached 104.5. At that time I took him to the ER. He tested negative for mono, flu, and meningitis (They did a spinal tap). He s thrown up and had diarrhea. He left work early today after throwing up. I m not sure he ever got rid of whatever he had a month ago.

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like food intolerance , food allergy, bacterial or viral infection, parasitic infection or inflammatory bowel disease. You should take plenty of fluids. You should avoid intake of outside of food. You should take banana daily. For now eat light and non spicy , eat fresh fruits and vegetables and eat fruits like banana . I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like ornidazole , albendazole , omeprazole along with loperamide.
