What Causes High Fever With Red Bumps On Face,scalp And Neck?

34 month old male, 103 fever. Red bumps on face, scalp, neck. Just a few. Almost look like pimples, new one above eye and on hand now. Dr saw only ones on mouth and said related to binky. The ones on his mouth don't touch the binky. These bumps are clearly spreading. Help? :(
