What Causes High Heart Rate After An Epidural Steroid Injection?
I usually run between 84 109 on my heart rate I had an epidural steroid injection on my back today how high of a heart rate should I be concerned it is runrunning130 s pretty steadily right now but not really bothersome to and not higher than 136 so I think I should just keep a close eye on it I am a medical assistant for a family practice so I do have a pulse ox the ox is running 98 percent but I think I need to confirm that I am okay and not to worry unless it goes higher
Your usual pulse is higher than the normal range. It should not exceed 100/min when you are not exercising. Your pulse now being 130 warrants a check with your doctor. It is important to at least have an ECG to see the cause of this high pulse rate.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
I wish you good health.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
