What Causes High Level Of Protein In Urine During The Drug Screen?

I was told that my urine have a very high level of protein in it. Basically it was off the charts. I need to know what is causing it. Every time I take a drug screen or a urine test I m told it is a very high level of protein. Please I need to know if I should worry.

HI,
loosing protein in the urine is called proteinuria. It is generally a sign of disease and can happen rarely in normal individuals. The most common cause is kidney disease, called nephropathy. you should see conditions like urinary infection, diabetes, SLE and many more diseases.
as you say it is high level in urine, i suggest you to visit a nephrologist who will order you 24 hour urine assay and will further suggest the further course of action.
