What Causes High Pitch Ringing In Ears After Getting An Hearing Aid?

I have been diagnosed with Sudden Sensorial Hearing loss about a year ago. I ve been fitted for a hearing aid. For the last 3 days when I woke up if I pressed on my ear I would hear a high pitch ringing. This would only happen when I pressed on my ear. It goes away after about an hour and a half. What do you make of it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for the concern. A high pitched ringing is due to full volume of hearing aid and also may be due to improper fitting of hearing aid. so decrease the volume of your hearing aid or contact your hearing health professional for proper fitting.
