What Causes High Potassium Levels And Weight Gain?

My daughter, who is 43 years old, has been a dialysis patient for almost five years and is steadily going downward. Back in October, 2014, she coded twice (potassium level went to high) in the hospital. After being discharged, she has gained a good 50+ pounds. She was taken off the waiting list for a kidney transplant because of this. This weight gain did not come from any diet or lifestyle change. She has always suspected that she has a hormonal imbalance and has not felt like herself for a very long time. She just recently had tests done (sonogram and blood work ) and they came out negative, indicating that the weight gain is not associated with her thyroid, but that is still questionable. We are all at our wits end to find out what could have caused and is still causing her to gain weight. Is there a homeopathic product that can help with this problem? or any other natural remedy? Please respond. My daughter needs immediate help!
