What Causes High Prolactin Levels?

hello doctors, may laboratory result is HIGH on prolactin, and according to OB-gyne I have to repeat may Blood Lab., if the results is same on the first Lab, I will undergo on MRI, my question is, Do I need to undergo MRI, and is this a serious problem?.. and did it caused fertility?

kindly relax.
high prolactin level can be seen in thyroid or pituitary gland (it's located in brain and is the control center of many hormones in our body) problems, infertility and not fertility can be one of the result of high prolactin.
I would request you to get TFT, USG of whole abdomen done too along with MRI brain and discuss them with your doctor.
