According to me,most common blood pressure medications have tachycardia(Increased heart rate) as a common side effect but drug labetalol doesn t increase the heart rate rather controls it.However with initial doses,patients may experience symptoms like dizziness,body weakness etc.Also in my opinion,your pulse rate is not high to be concerned(above 100 beats/min is generally considered tachycardia).Seek medical care if you feel uncomfortable frequently.Hope i have answered your query.If any further questions,happy to answer you.Take care.
