Hi I had my first gyn appointment yesterday, I didn t see a Dr I seen a pcos nurse who asked me loads of questions and has booked me in for a ultrasound scan in two weeks.. I was referred to the hospital after my first blood test showed I had high testosterone levels. ( I have regular periods - 25 day cycle).. But she went on to say if the scan came back clear then they would look at my kidneys and brain..as this could also be the reason of high testosterone levels.. I was already very nervous but could not wait to leave and as a result as left me more nervous as I have no idea of what is wrong .. I do retain a lot of water in my legs but always have done.. But my initial reason for my gp visit was my right leg was more swollen than usual- from the tip of my toes all the way to my hip but only in one leg (normal swelling for me only occurs in shins never ankles).. On a positive note I don t feel unwell :) .. Just a little stressed..
