Hello, I read carefully your concern. Salazopyrin is not the cause of your high TSH level. In most of the cases it has an autoimmune origin which should be confirmed bu checking the antibodies. Anyway, your physician will start the treatment with levothyroxine and will monitor the TSH level periodically. The symptoms will get improved with 4 weeks of treatment. Hope i have been helpful. Kind regards, Dr.Mirjeta
