What Causes Hip And Knee Joint Pain In A Hyperthyroid Myopathy Patient?
HI! I have hyperthyroid Myopathy. I am dealing with thyroid since last 15 years and my leg muscle and hand muscle are loosing with time. I feel pain in hip joint and knee joint while walking and sitting. I also have knock knees which problem from last 2-3 years. I am 30 year old female. i am not not to excercise because it makes me loose more muscles and my hand and legs becomes more thin. In addition, it makes to too tired. Please suggest some homeopathic remedy.
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM The symptoms you described are most likely caused by your underlying thyroid disorder.I will suggest you see an endocrinologist to evaluation. As for your hip and knee pains, it could still be due to muscle wearing from your condition or an associated osteoarthritis.I will suggest you try the following: -Rest well -Have your thyroid condition under control -Pain medications like ibuprofen and a myorelaxant like miorel may help relief the pains -Get enough vitamin D and calcium -Eat healthy and balanced and ask your Doctor about supplementing your Diet Hope my answer ill help you Best wishes
