What Causes Hip Bone Pain Along With Gastritis And Vomiting?
Hi, My husband is complaining of severe pain on the left side by his hip bone. He has a lot of gas and is telling me that he hasn t been able to go poop all day which is highly unusual for him. He is also not one to complain when in pain. He has been vomiting as well. I am starting to get concerned.
Pain in the pelvic area around hip bone along with vomiting is a sign of starting of Urinary Tract Infection. He should start an antibiotic course for resolution of the infection. He can take Levofloxacin 250 mg (Levoflox) twice a day for 5 days. Digene syrup 10 ml after meals and before bed time will help in symptoms regarding gas and indigestion. If he has tendency of acidity, he can take Ranitidine 150 mg (Zinetac) twice a day. For the relief in symptoms of pain, Acetaminophen 500 mg (Crocin) can be taken twice or thrice a day.
Lots of fluids will help in passing the infection through urine faster. Ask him to take rest. If he does not feel better in 3 days or symptoms worsen, he should visit a physician for physical examination and further investigations.
I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing Healthcare Magic.
Best Regards, Dr. Viraj Shah
