What Causes Hip Pain And Throbbing Toothache?

I am a 46 y.o. healthy white female. I am experiencing extreme left hip pain. It feels like a throbbing toothache. I have experienced a loud popping noise in my hip when bending for many years, but until now, it s not been painful. The pain is really bad at night (keeping me up) and when sitting. Any ideas?
