Hello, I ve been itchy for almost 3 months now and I m not sure what it is. I tried going to the doctor and he told me it was just allergies. I didn t get a chance to fully explain everything to him and I feel he jumped to it too quickly. I have these dots that look similar to hives. They are slightly pink and turn more red when I itch. They seem to be everywhere but the majority of them are on my forearms. I ve noticed them to be found in cracks like on my wrist, on my hands, between my fingers, my waist/hip, my knees, ankles, some on my feet and my butt. I have about a total of 45-50 dots all over. The itching seems to be worse at night. I also noticed that when I squeeze them a small amount of clear liquid will come out. I had someone sleep in my bed for 5 nights a little over 3 months ago. Two days later he complained to me about being itchy. A month about after that I noticed that I was itchy and I thought it was just weird. As the itching persisted I for both of us, we thought there had to be a connection. He went to a dermatologist 4 times until he was told it might be scabies. I started researching scabies and felt that it was very possible that it could be it because my symptoms seemed to match up. The only thing that was kind of weird was that the guy did not seem to have the same symptoms as me. We had the same symptoms of itchiness at night, but he said he didn t really have any visible bumps. Also when I looked at picture online, I did not feel that my bumps looked the same as what scabies is. The bumps in pictures look darker and more in clumps. I may have a clump of 3 or 4 on my hands, but mostly the bumps are spread out and aren t very dark. They re not really noticeable unless you know they are their or if I scratch them. I also know that having burrows is a symptom and I haven t noticed any. My doctor seemed to be sure that it was allergies and told me to take Zyrtec and use lotion for dry skin. I use lotion all the time and have been taking zrytec for 2 weeks and haven t noticed any changes. The day I went to the doctor, my spots happened to be hardly there that day. I also didn t get a chance to mention anything about the guy who was itchy as well. They do resemble hives just so I can try to explain what the look like. I hope you can get back to me soon with some type of answer. Thanks for your time
