What Causes Hives On Hands And Feet While On Duloxetine?

I stopped taking duloxetine 60mg after being on it for over a year. Not knowing I had to be weined off of it I just stopped it. So a month and 3 weeks later after having pains in my head my doc put me back on 30 mg. now I have it hie hands and feet along with a few hives. What should I do.

Duloxetine shouldn't be stopped immediately as you have said. It can precipitate withdrawal symptoms. The hives could be due to reaction to duloxetine. The reason for why you were on duloxetine is not clearly mentioned. I would recommend you to ask for alternatives to duloxetine if the hives are disturbing and intolerable. Do not stop Duloxetine on your own, do contact your physician as soon as possible.
