What Causes Hives Throughout Body After Gallbladder Surgery?
I started on prednisone 2 weeks ago started on 30mg daily for 7 days, this week I have started taking 20mg for 7 days, tomorrow for my 3rd week I am taking 10mg for 7 days and next week I started 5mg for 7 days and then I return to the doctor. I had gallbladder surgery on July 14 and ever since then my body has been covered in hives from head to toe. After just 2 weeks my abdomen is as hard as a rock! Is this side effect? My e-mail is YYYY@YYYY I am also on an immuno suppressant 2000mg daily. Ugh!

I believe that this side effects can be related to combination of corticosteroids and immuno-suppressants usage. Talk to your immunologist about it.
