What Causes Horizontal Indentations On Thighs During Postpartum?
I am 8 months postpartum and about 2 month after i had my daughter i noticed these indentations going horizontally across both my thighs about 4in down from my hips, looks like i was leaning on a counter but always there. I never had them before i had my daughter. Im wondering what its from and if it will ever go away
Indentations postpartum can be due to the excess weight gain during pregnancy. If you don't have any trouble to get up from squatting position, you need not be worried about that. Do regular exercise so that the gained weight will go off. Or otherwise, if you have a proximal myopathy, difficulty climbing stairs, or if the indentations have a purplish hue, consult a physician and rule out cushings syndrome
