General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your hormonal imbalance could be due to ovarian dysfunction/PCOS, thyroid dysfunction.
Finish the tablet 5 days as per doctor advises.
Period will occur 4-7 days after stopping the pill.
To detect the problem I would suggest to consult gynecologist and undergo reproductive and thyroid hormone analysis, USG scan, ovarian follicle study.
If period will not come then high dose of progesterone can be used.
Other specific treatment depend on cause

Meanwhile avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise
Reduce weight if you are obese, avoid excessive sweet and take small frequent meal
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
