What Causes Hot Flashes Along With Nose Bleeds?

My Best Friend was cleaning very quickly she said she felt hot and her nose started bleeding. She was showing me the small red lines visible just under the surface of her skin on her face and she was telling me that those were capillaries. Well, she also told me she had one in her nose and we are thinking it busted and thats what caused the bleed. the blood was coming from the lower part of the nasal passage and her blood pressure was 180/102. my question is could this be a sign of a more serious underlying condition? She is not currently on any blood pressure medication..Thank You for your time and any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
