What Causes Hot Flashes And Palpitations?
I have had hot flashes at night for a long time. Saw a different obgy and do not have results of test yet, but started estrogen and progesterone cream. Woke with hot flash and realized my heart was beating rapidly, maybe one beat per minute maybe more. I think I may have had the rapid heart beats before when I wake with hot flashs. I am at 8000 ft on vacation, live near sea level.

May be your body has not acclimatized well enough, so need to go slow on you vacation. Dnt do strenuous acts until your body feels ok with it, let your body adapt to it
