What Causes Hot Flashes And Swelling On Face After Long Exposure To Heat?

I am wondering about medications that warn possible damage to the skin by sun exposure. I take Metformin, Lisinopril. Escitalopram, and Omeprazole. But this week with our severe high temps, I have been sunburned on my face around my sunglasses when I am not in the sun except to walk straight from a building to my car, then home to my garage. There is fever in my face and a swelling usually not associated with sunburn.

Excessive exposure to sunlight causes sunburn. Sunburns are caused by UV radiation rather than heat. Sunburns destroy skin, which controls the amount of heat our bodies retain or release. Anyone who visits a beach, goes fishing, works in the yard, or simply is out in the sun can get sunburned. Sometimes it causes skin blisters also.
Advice
1.     Apply Spectraban sensitive sunscreen before going to sunlight. You can also use sunscreens which are used for cosmetic purpose preferably with Sun Protection Factor (SPF) more than 50
2.     Try to avoid exposure to sunlight
3.     Apply ice pack 3 – 4 times daily
4.     Apply aloevera-based lotions such as Elovera cream 3 times daily for soothing effect
5.     Drink 3 – 4 liters of water
6.     You can take over the counter anti – inflammatory such as ibuprofen 400 mg thrice daily for 5 days. You can take tablet ranitidine 150 mg twice daily along with ibuprofen to prevent gastric ulcer due to ibuprofen
7.     Fully cover your skin with cloth whilst in sunlight
Thanks
