Unintentional weight loss always needs to be investigated. In your case ,the weight would be related to decreased appetite and vomiting.
There are different possible causes for persistent vomiting such as: (1)reflux (2)obstruction of bowel or stomach (3)infection (4)liver disease (5)side effect of medication (6)alcohol use (7)high levels of calcium (8)high levels of urea (9)diseases of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord)
It would be best to visit your doctor for an assessment to determine the cause. This would require careful history, examination and investigations
I hope this helps
