General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Hot flushes can occur in the perimenopausal (time before periods stop permanently) and menopausal period.
Menopause is diagnosed when there is a year with no periods.

The balance issues are not likely linked to the menopause or perimenopause. This should be assessed by your doctor, there are possible causes.

If you continue to eat well, be physically active , maintain a generally healthy lifestyle, control any risk factors (blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol), then you should be okay

I hope this helps
