What Causes Hot Sensation In The Abdomen?
My son is having trouble with getting a very hot feeling in the v of his stomach in the middle and to the right. It does not happen after meals per say - it can happen throughout the day and is concerning him very much. He has had tests done and bloodwork but no results and he can t reach anyone. They checked the appendix, and he had the gastro and colonoscopy done and the same time. His symptoms seem to be around his liver

The hot feeling in the v of the abdomen. As you describe it. Seems to be due to hyperacidity. Have frequent &small sized bland diet/cold milk. Take Ranitidine pills over the counter would help.
To confirm/exclude liver problem and liver function tests should be undertaken. Followed by needful consultation of a gastroenterologist.
