What Causes Illness, Pain After An Contraceptive Implant Insertion?

Hi. Basically, I had an implant, contraceptive, inserted two months ago. And ever since then I ve been feeling very ill, including feeling the need to be sick, and the feeling of my left arm where the implant is being squeezed. I ve also been unable to lift things for a prolonged period of time. I feel like I am dying. Maybe an exaggeration. I also took a pregnancy test that came negative and I have had periods ever since then. Help.
