What Causes Imbalance, Dizziness And Hearing Loss After Hip Replacement Surgery?
My husband suffer from sever problems with balance and dizziness. The condition started after he had hip replacement surgery a few years ago and having total hearing loss in his right ear the next day. The contain has gotten more and more frequent till he has the nearly every day. Often more then once a day and occur just after he stand up and lasts for a couple of minutes or longer. Any suggestions?

Hi, Thanks for the query.I understand your con ern. The loss of balance & dizziness seems to be due postural hypotension following surgery... weaness/some medications following surgery (please check it with a surgeon) Hearing loss associated with these symptoms is possible with some injury to brain/ ear infection. You need a consultation of an ENT docyor foe exact diagnosis.&proper treatment. Thanks.
