What Causes Imbalance In The Legs While On Azathioprine?

I was recently diagnosed with n.m.o I was prescribed azathioprine. I have been taking it for 4 weeks but my balance when walking is off and 3 days ago I lost my balance and fell backwards through a windo and had to go to the e.r. I feel like my balance is worst since taking this medication. Is there something different I could take or do you think it s too soon to tell. I m scared to go out in case I fall. It sucks

I can understand your concern.
Azathioprine can not cause imbalance.
Similarly NMO also can not cause imbalance.
So we should definitely look for the diagnosis for your imbalance.
So get done MRI brain to rule out any cerebellar pathology.
If MRI brain is normal then vitamin B12 supplements are needed to treat imbalance.
