What Causes Impaired Body Balance With Severe Sinus Problem?

I have a unbalance problem for a while now I went to the neurology , I also went to a ent doctor I was having a lot of complication I have thyroid problem,sinusitis migraine headache high cholesterol,a couple year ago my ears was hurting really bad and multiple times after that I think my sinus ace really bad at one time it was so bad that I couldn t hear I thought that u was going deaf I went to see a ent doctor and he was ready to offer me hearing aid but luckily my daughter was with me she told the doctor that I was not deaf she thought it was the sinus why don t him run some test to see the real cause so he did he gave medication and I started hearing in a couple days

Hello,

Sinus infection does pause issue with balance via changes at fluid balance within cochlear apparatus and related structures of the brain. It is the basic control of primary infection, which gives you best recovery of balance as well. If later on symptoms reappear after the resolution of sinus infection, your ENT may decide to prescribe you an MRI of the brain or ear ahead for final diagnosis after basic clinical work up with Weber and Rennie test for hearing.
