General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You got Radial nerve palsy-Wrist drop. May be due to you slept in a position that compressed the nerve.

Usually, persons who very tired, drowsy or under the influence of alcohol will sleep without changing position will have wrist drop.

Physiotherapy and some steroid medicine will recover the condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr C.ELANCHEZHIAN, General & Family Physician
