Yes, my granddaughter who is 9 years old has Juvenile Dermatomyositis, She has been in remission almost a year. My Question is She recently had an eye examine because she was not seeing board clearly, The doctor that examined her said she has gone from a -1.25 to -3.50 in 6 months. Dr. said this is not normal to go that bad that quickly. Took tests and trying to slow down her sight from getting worst. So she isn t blind when she hits puberty. Could this be related to having the disease, and what would be next step to take to help her. Concerned Grandparent
