What Causes Increased Appetite After Having A Vascular By Pass In Leg?
My husband had a stroke almost three years ago resulting in a processing disorder with a diagnosis of stroke induced dementia. In September he had to have vascular by pass in his leg due to lack of circulation in his foot. Since that time, he seems to eat constantly, especially from dinner on. I ve seen this with Alzheimers patients, but am concerned that something has happened to trigger this.

I really appreciate your concern, what the history being stated here and the present symptoms of over eating these are unrelated with each other stroke and vascular disease may not cause the symptoms of over eating neither the Alzheimer's disease but the symptom of over eating may indicates the depression and anxiety and it need to be differentiated, hope this information helps, take care.
