Hello,
As per my clinical experience, the pale stools, nausea, vomiting after meals in 3 years child indicate possible issue with
hepatobiliary system, pancreas or else. The increased appetite seems to be in concern with repeated vomiting depriving him far away from satiety level of stomach fullness.
In my clinic, I do recommend a primary examination clinically with per abdomen signs of any liver,
gall bladder enlargement, icterus signs, ascites (fluid in abdomen)and others
Later on investigations including lab data of complete hemogram, liver function tests with serum bilirubin, SGPT,
alkaline phosphatase,
prothrombin time, urine and stool microscopy,
ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis. Further guidelines can be figured out depending upon the results of above tests.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
