What Causes Increased Breathing Difficulty At Night?
Hi Doc, I have a difficulty of breathing especially during night time and sometimes daytime. It seems there is a blockage in my chest to breath but when I drink water it will back to normal this happens several times even until now. Please provide me diagnostic information. Thank you
youare having obstructive lung disorder. have to consult pulmunologist for auscultation of lung fields and have any investigation as required. if required bronchodialator has to be taken.rule out esophageal re flux may add to problem. if required respiratory support may be taken. problem is respiratory obstructive disorder.posture of sleep is to be corectedyou have to add opt posture which improve your respiratory capability
Your physical examination necessary in your case esp .auscultation if rhochi , abnormal heart sound if present which will guide for further work up....
You needs following work up.... -Blood pressure measurement -Auscultation -CBC (For eosinophila as in allergy inflammation And also for looking hemolysis if fragmented RBC present to rule out PNH) -EKG (for cardiac causes) -spirometry and chest x ray if needed
According to cause further treatment will be guided Like for ex..heart failure changes or pulmonary edema than diuretic given ... If bronhoconstriction than bronchodilator given ..
Take care
