What Causes Increased Vaginal Discharge, Nausea, Sore Breasts And Fatigue?
Hello I am a 21 year old female with pcos. I have been on metformin for about 5 months. I had my last cycle in march and had a blood pregnancy test 1 week after missed period. It was negative and I haven t tested since then until a few days ago in took a home test at night and it was negative but I could kind of see the other line against the light. I ve been having a few pregnancy symptoms like increased discharge and some nausea and occasional sore breast and extreme fatigue. The last two weeks I ve had fatigue and persistent morning nausea but no vomiting. I ve also had frequent urination. Could I be pregnant or am I crazy?
There is no pregnancy, neither you are crazy. These symptoms are in concern with the underlying hormone imbalance due to polycystic ovarian syndrome. It is the control of hormone irregularity which will take control of the above mentioned symptoms. Addition of proton pump inhibitor, oral contraceptive pills are the best measures for the same.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
