Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
About 7 years ago I began experiencing fatigue. It became increasingly worse. I woke up one day so stiff I could barely move. They thought it was PMR but rhuemotology said I was too young. I am currently 50. They said I have an undetermined autoimmune disorder and slapped a label of polyarthritis on me. Soon after I started to pass out without warning. Now they think I was not passing out that I was having an absence seizure. Now my daughter, who is only 31 has started experiencing the same thing. Her symptoms progressed quickly though. They have said she has an undetermined autoimmune too but they say it has to do with her blood and sending her to a hematologist. What do you think we are dealing with? Should she be going that route or should she be seeing a rhuematologist?
hi chronic fatigue may follow glandular fevers if occured in early ages.Other causes could be fibromyalgia .I would suggest a immunologist may be consulted. My suggestion would be to take gabapentin, methycobalamin, amitryptaline and tramadol for pain relief Physical therapy, for joints Checking of blood sugar levels, liver functions, serum LDH-5 for muscles, serum CRP, ESR,CBC as some base blood tests you may consult and write to us for any queries
