Hello, I have an indention on my forehead, and I was wondering if it is a skull fracture. I have had it for a long time now and am unsure about how it affects me. It is on my hairline and goes a bit beyond that into my forehead. Thank you. Sincerely, Alysse
Hi, Alysse, I understand your concern and I'll try to help you. It is unclear whether this deformity in your forehead occurred after a local trauma or if it's something you've always had. If you have occurred after a trauma, this may be a sequel to a fracture.
If you have not been a local trauma this must be only a feature of his face. It is therefore important that in this situation you look for a psychologist to identify how it affects your emotional state. Most often, it is not necessary to place any surgical intervention to correct the indentation unless your emotional is being deeply affected.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help you. Wish you good health.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, without the history of injury to the skull it can not be fracture even if you want to clear the doubt then better to get done the x-ray of head, it can not be fracture long last it could have been healed if it is ever there anytime, hope this information helps.
