What Causes Indents Along The Hair Line?

I have a dent, 2 actually in the front of my skull. Just inside my hair line about a inch long. The one on the right is deep the one on left shallow and u can literally put your fingers in the dents and pinch my skull between them. Any idea if I should be alarmed?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

History of trauma ,headache ,visual difficulties should be ruled out. Sudden formation of dent in the bone should be evaluated to rule out any tumors or disease that cause loss of bone. An x-ray or CT scan may be required to rule out any bony deformities. Vitamin D and Calcium levels should be measured. Bone density should also be tested to rule out any osteoporosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
