Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Nineteen year old son has inexplicable bruises on his kidney area at the front both sides the same. He has an appointment in June for a scan for an enlarged lymph node on the back of his neck which he has had for 2 months. He has Aspergers and does not do needles so refused a blood test, he also rarely will see a Dr. He does not want to go for the scan. Any advice?
There are a few social groups who know how to deal with these kids and a psychologist can be consulted on video call. The last option is anesthesia, only doctors [trained] can handle this. This child can get much benefit if he attended 'Art of Living' kids program, he must join.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
