What Causes Infected Seroma Near The Incision After A Back Surgery?
I developed a seroma at the base of the incision after back surgery. I dope with my doctor s nurse and understand that this normal. It has been 14 days since surgery and the seroma is still draining; a light bloody gel like substance which is new. It has also become crusty. I feel fine, have no fervor and the incision sight does not appear angry or infected. However, since the makeup of the drainage has changed I was wondering if things are still ok.
