In most probability it is an infection most likely bacterial ,
Staphylococcus aureus is generally the most common infection which tends to occur in such short time span . However a swab from the ozzing pus or blood may be used to culture the growth of organism and appropriate antibiotic is warranted .
Do consult your surgeon so he can examine the wound and can take necessary steps to prevent it's spread
