What Causes Infections Even After Bartholin Gland Removal?

Re: Bartholin Gland removal. I have had 3 surgeries and the gland is removed. But still I get infections. Last surgery was Jan.2012. Again I'm infected since May and it's still infected. Been on 2 differenct antibiotics. Don't know what to do and neither does my gyne. Dr. Any ideas?

Hi,
It seems that there might not be complete removal of sac of Bartholin cyst giving this problem again and again.
Due to infection some time complete removal of sac is not possible due to adherence and thinness of sac.
Consult your Gynaec and discuss about this.
