Hello,
Thank you for your query.
Sorry about the miscarriage. Trying to conceive isn't an easy journey and can be devastating when there has been a loss.
*What did you mean by saying 'it discontinues in the first or second month'? Did she get pregnant and lose it after 1or 2 months?
* why did she have the first miscarriage? (you said they identified a reason)
* has she been evaluated for recurring miscarriages?
I recommend :
-an
OBGYN and fertility specialist consult
- blood tests (
complete blood count, Thyroid hormone levels, TORCH panel, autoimmune panel,
anti mullerian hormone,
follicle stimulating hormone and lutenizing hormone-the last 2 on day 3 of her period)
-ultrasound on day 3 of period to check for
ovarian reserve -
folic acid supplement 5mg a day
-
semen analysis for you.
-a healthy lifestyle. Minimize stress and caffeine.
-regular exercise. Weight loss is overweight
-time intercourse regularly
To answer your query, folic acid (folicum) 5mg is safe to use before and after conceiving. Women are commonly deficient in this vitamin.
Deficiency can lead to miscarriages, spinal and neural tube defects in the fetus.
It can also cause anemia for the woman which is unfavorable whole trying to conceive and during pregnancy.
As women age, the quality and number of her eggs go down and the more difficult it is to get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy. Nevertheless it is possible, based on the above results.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Wish you good health
