What Causes Infertility?

I have had iui treatment on 27th January, im day 14piui today and have tested negative! Does this mean my chance of being pregnant are non existent, or is it to early to test! My period is not due till friday so another 3 days away. I have had no symptoms at all during whole 2 week wait after iui, and really thought this may be a good thing! I m also taking progesterone pessarys could this affect the test! Please tell me what I can do and if there is still a chance I could be pregnant! Been trying for a very long time and 1st attempt at IUI, no fertility issues at all, been tested for everything and all come back fine, been diagnosed with unexplained infertility as cannot find any reason why it s not happening naturally.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
-Progesteron pessaries are to support conception & conceived pregnancy. It by no way can interfere with pregnancy test.
- The pregnancy test can be done around the expected date of menses ( blood HCG testing) / after 8 days delay in periods by home pregnancy test of urine.
-In many conditions like attempt in wrong time of periods( unprotected sex around ovulation is favorable for conception)/ allergic to semen/endometriosis/ tubal problems can cause unexplained infertility.
_ IUI may need several attempts for getting success. Please don't be tense.
