Brief answer: APTHOUS STOMATITIS/ APTHOUS ULCERS/ CANKER SORES..

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain you are suffering from Apthous ulcers which can cause painful blisters on mucous membranes of mouth and many conditions like Nutritional deficiency [Vitamin B 12, Iron and Folic acid],Stress,Denture wearing, GERD, excessive intake of citrus foods, allergic reactions of medicines etc are considered as causative factors for this but the exact cause is still unknown..

As you have a lot of inflammation you need to take a Steroid course Like Prednisone 10 mg twice a day..
For pain you can take OTC painkiller like Ibuprofen 400mg twice a day..
Do soda bicarb gargles..
Salt water gargles will help..
Apply milk of magnesia over the sores..
Take a multivitamin tablet daily for 15 days..
Apply a steroid and numbing ointment like Kenalog in Orabase as it will numb the sores as well as steroid will reduce inflammation..
Sucking ice pops and cold water gargles will relief..
Avoid spicy,hot,and citrus foods..

Hope this information helps..
