What Causes Inflamed Left Knee And Burning Sensation In Left Hip?
Hello. Inside of my left knee is inflamed. Tore the cartridge 40 years ago. No problems until now. My left hip was burning for 3 days but is better now. I can only walk with the aid of my wife s walker. The knee is killing me every time I get out of the chair. Not fun. Thanks.

You have not mentioned your age. This kind of problems may happen in age related degenerative changes. This can also occur in osteoarthritis. But in that case typical burning pain is uncommon. You may check your blood sugar level as diabetes play a role in such burning pain. If the local skin of knee is red and hot it may be due to local inflammation. In that case you may take oral NSAIDs like paracetamol with proton pump inhibitor. Topical nsaids also have role.
