General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted the history of inflamed muscle on left side of shoulder blade and also have tightness in throat, neck and shoulder in spite of loosening of the muscles in back.
This means your problems of tightness in neck, throat and upper back are not relatedto the inflamed muscles on shoulder blade.
Hence, I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult your Doctor again or take a second opinion to find the cause of tightness in throat, neck and shoulder as this may be due to local problems of Pharyngitis along with inflammation of the neck muscles causing tightness and thus referred muscle spasm causing shouler pain.
Take appropriate prescription based medicaitons for the throat problems in the form of antibiotic, anti-inflammatory mediccations along with muscle relasants for neck and shoulder muscle spasm.
You may apply local Rubefacient liniments that cause local warmth and muscle relaxation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant,
General Surgeon
