What Causes Inflammation And Pain In Stomach After Appendix Removal?
I was admitted to hospital with awful stomach pains this was the second time in the last ten years first time they said it was adhesions ans cause I d had surgery having my appendix removed a few weeks earlier and my bowl had been handled it stopped working for a while which gave me inflamed stomach second time exactly same pains same treatment was put on drip for four days they couldn t say what was wrong that time but said I had fluid in pouch of Douglas which was a sign that the bowel was strain but reading on hear are the two connected or separate things
The following are few causes of pain abdomen and fluid in the pouch of Douglas: 1) Ectopic pregnancy 2) Endometriosis 3) Ascites or fluid in the abdomen due to liver failure or congestive heart failure 4) Hydatidiform mole 5) Ovarian torsion 6) Pelvic abscess 7) Pelvic inflammatory disease 8) Hematoma 9) Uterine fibroids
