What Causes Inflammation And Redness On The Skin Of Face And Hands?
I recently had two episodes where my face and hands and arms up to my elbows turned red and it felt like my skin was on fire. It was not like a hot flash (menopausal, I been threw that. What could this be? The first lasted about fifteen minutes and the second about ten. I felt sick too.

U didn't mentioned about itching but ur symptoms are suggesting about possible cholinergic urticaria leading to to hot itchy skin in response to increased acetyl choline secretion.
Secondly it can occur in vit deficiency but appears less likely in ur case.
If it continues than I will suggest you to go for a dermatologist consultation.
